Down in the Valley

My cousin, Scott Kuhn, took this pretty picture of the valley where I grew up. He and his family were on Fort Mountain at the Overlook and he was snapping away. He just got a new camera lens and here is a shot of the Tankersley homeplace close up. As you can see brother in law, Bruce has been hard at work bush hogging the pasture.  In the top picture the farm is the last little piece of green that you can see in the middle of the photograph. That is some amazing camera lens to get such a close up!! Holly said that the next time they are at the overlook they will call the house and get a family member to cme and stand in the yard and wave!:) If you want to check out some of Scott's other pictures you can find his website www.agspics.com. In addition to being a busy businessman and father, he is quite the photographer. He has some help from my cousin, Holly, as well!  If you are looking for a weekend getaway to view the leaves this fall....check out Fort Mountain and the Chattahoochee National Forest in Northwest Georgia.

How amazing!! I had no idea there were camera lenses that could get a closeup like that from such a distance. What a wonderful picture of your home place!
