Baby Shower

We were so happy to be able to celebrate the upcoming birth of Audrey Katherine Grimm on Saturday. Charles and Nancy came for the weekend and all my children were here for the shower and an Easter Dinner following the shower. In this day and age, having all your children in one place for a day is something to enjoy.

We put up a cute banner over the fireplace.

Margaret helped me put the balloons at the curb so people would know where the party was taking place! It was such a windy day that the balloons blew around quite a bit!! Kendall missed the shower as she had a ball game.

This beautiful cake was made by my friend, Jamie, at The Funky Peacock. We used Amelia's crocheted table cloth that was made by Audrey's late great grandmother, Saramina Grimm.

A bevy of Grimm Beauties.

Charles and Nancy were tickled with this book, Audrey Bunny!!

And it would not be a Southern Shower if you did not get at least one monogrammed item!!

We were thankful for old friends and new friends who helped us to celebrate our new granddaughter. Her arrival is less than a month away now!! We are getting excited!
