Happy New Year and a Give Away Too!

Happy 2016! And Roll Tide! All of us Alabama fans are in high cotton this morning, celebrating the big win. Now on to play Clemson! My son, Ben, graduated from Bama and he is a big fan so the win was a good way to ring out the old year and to welcome the new one.

I am going to try to do a give away on the first day of each month this year. It will not be a big giveaway but just something that I enjoy that I think my blog friends will like as well. Also, it is a way to say thank you all you lovely ladies who read my blog and comment.

January's Give Away is Wet-it!

My good friend, Susan, gave me one of these little gems as a Christmas gift. Now when I got it I was rather perplexed. What was it exactly? Well when I used it in the kitchen I found I had a new favorite kitchen helper.  I am not a big fan of sponges in the kitchen but then when I use a bigger dish cloth to wipe down things, inevitably it will start to smell all yucky no matter how carefully I wring it out and place it neatly on the edge of the sink. Well Wet-it solves that problem. It is a thin large sponge and when you finish using your Wet-it, it goes back to a dry sponge and no smell!!  I liked mine so much that I got online to order more as backups for me and happies for some friends.

Here is what the enclosure that came with my order says about Wet-its.
These miracle cloths originated in Sweden and when a Swedish immigrant to America could not find them here, a business was born.
Wet-its last for six months with average use.
Place in top rack of dishwasher to clean.
Use in place of rolls of paper towels to get up wet messes.
They can be used with bleach .

This review and give away is not sponsored by Wet-its...I just love this product so much that I wanted to share it.

So leave a comment on this post and I will announce a winner on Monday! Sorry but this give away is only open to ladies who live in the continental US.  Happy New Year and Good Luck!

What an interesting product! I would like to try this out. I love the "no odor" and how it could replace using so many paper towels. Just recently found your blog through Lindas Life Journal and enjoy it a lot. Thanks for the fun giveaway.

This seems like a very useful product and I know I use way too many paper towels! I'm a fairly new reader of your blog and found you through Whitney at Come Home For Comfort. I especially love your book lists and needlework posts! Thanks for the opportunity to win this prize!

Wow, this sounds wonderful, Arlene. Great gifts for friends and I would love to win one of these! Thanks for the opportunity!

Yes (as referenced above) isn't Whitney's blog (and also that of her mom, Denise) fantastic? I have been so encouraged by both of these ladies, and I found them by way of your blog roll. So that is one of many ways in which God has used you to encourage me this year. Happy new year!

Mrs T, I love Whitney and Denise. ( For some reason Denise's blog is one that I am having problems commenting on so I go to her Facebook page to comment!) I think a new laptop is in my future. I did buy quite a few Wet-its to have on hand for happies and gifts. They are not expensive and that is another plus. I hope you and Mr. T have a wonderfully blessed 2016!'

The person who GAVE the WetIt did not buy one for herself but after Arlene's raves she ended up ordering several and I was a proud recipient of one. It does live up to her accolades. I dare say it will save its cost in less paper towel usage for me!!
