Valentine Coffee Bar

I am going to post this evening as Elliott is busy upstairs with Grandpa!  I had to wash his hair tonight so I am not his favorite person right now. Tomorrow we will be heading to the Krispy Kreme in Hoover to meet Katy and enjoy an after school snack with Baylor and Margaret.  Katy says the house has been very quiet with Elliott in Decatur and they are looking forward to his return.

I put my Valentine Coffee Bar together. And I am seeing the cord in the background that I usually unplug before I take a photo!

I love using cake stands in my decorating. I put my LOVE on the cake stand and surrounded it with packets of hot chocolate.

The grands love having a snack on seasonal paper plates.  Target and Walmart carry cute plates at very reasonable prices.

I enjoy this bright little corner of my kitchen in all seasons.

I never noticed your cord 'til you pointed it out. Your little Vaalentine's drink corner is lovely and practical as well.

A great idea for those grands. They won't forget that either. Love your "LOVE" sign.

Thanks sweet friends...as you can tell I was searching for something to post about!!lol....When I take Elliott home I hope to tackle another project or two. Linda, I am amazed at all you and LD accomplish with quads to care for!! Diana, I love to have a little corner that is interesting in the kitchen. I am not a big hot chocolate drinker but Kendall is so she helps deplete my supply. Sandy, I do want them to remember the little things that Nana did for them and I hope they will do the same for their grands. Off to Bham today and then to clean my house good tomorrow. I am finding cereal and other tiddly bits all over my house.lol

I love your hot chocolate corner! And I have to say that we only recently found Land o'Lakes hot chocolate and love it! (the white chocolate packets are great too) And as far as Krispy Kreme goes - it's the only donuts I can't resist. But we only allow ourselves this treat 'on occasion'. Bet your grandkids love visiting you.

What a very cute idea! I love your little coffee/hot chocolate corner! (I didn't notice the cord until you mentioned it!) My counter space is so limited, but I would love to do something like that. May have to work on it!! You LOVE sign is great! I love to hear about grandparents making memories with their grandchildren! Thanks for sharing!

Rian...we love the Land o Lakes chocolate. It is the best along with a Krispy Kreme donut of course. Terri, I started this little corner out when my sis in love, Lanier, gave me that pretty platter. It was too nice to put away and use for special occassions so I added my pottery creamer and sugar bowl along with some hot tea packets and a few Splendas for my friends who use artificial sweetener. I will not have a lot of room at the little house but I hope to have a small coffee bar there as well. As I get older I think I had better USE all those special pieces.

Hot Cocoa!

Arlene, your valentine coffee bar is so welcoming. I'd love to help myself! Love your decor, plates, cocoa, and even your cord! ♥

So cute! I wish I had a little corner like that. We have a lot of coffee things and plenty of tea and hot chocolate always on hand. That is a perfect place to keep it!

Gina, come on over!!Mari, it makes it so easy to have coffee with a friend. I tell them to use those demi tasse spoons to stir their cocoa or the cream and sugar for their coffee. Heather, I like the convenience and I keep a few of those to go cups on hand so I can take my coffee with me and not spend extra money at McDonalds or Panera. ( OK...I admit, that is my bad habit but I LOVE mcD's coffee!!)
