Weekend Windup

We had a busy weekend with visitors and trips! Lee and Lanier came to spend the weekend with us as they had a big day in Chattanooga on Saturday and staying with us cut down their drive time. They arrived here on Friday evening, we went out to dinner then we watched the movie, McFarland, before calling it a night.  It is a good movie if you are looking for a family friendly movie and Kevin Costner turns in a great performance as Coach White.

Saturday morning we were up early as Audrey was arriving so we could baby sit her while Charles and Nancy attended a memorial service. Kendall arrived to help out as brother had a ball game and she was not interested in watching it. And Lee and Lanier were getting ready for their trip to Chattanooga to see their youngest son get is Masters Degree from Covenant College.  It was a bit hectic to say the least.

Lanier had not met Audrey before so she got some loving in before she had to leave for the day.

Kendall has two baby sisters at Daddy's house so she is a pro with little girls. She loved taking care of Audrey.

If Audrey lived here she would be one spoiled little girl!!

I love this one!! All my girls but Margaret.

Cousin Love!!

And here are a few from School Days last week...

All dressed up for a field trip to Montgomery. Kendall's class toured the state Capitol, visited the Civil Rights museum and had a short cruise on a  Riverboat before heading back to Decatur.

And Amelia was honored at Muffins with Mom in Landon's class.  Landon had to serve Mommy. He got a kick out of it.  A busy but fun week as we rush to Summer vacation!!

Busy busy days. Cousin love is so great. With families spread out all over the place it is so good when they can meet up. Small gatherings are good to so that newly introduced cousins have time to bond together. What fun.
