Happy Birthday Margaret!

Seven years ago today we met this lovely young lady and we were instantly in love with her.

I love this picture of Ben. He is not a smiler and can be rather "Grimm" but he was smiling form ear to ear on this day.

Nana finally gets a turn!! See how she is looking at me!!

Hey Grandpa still had sorta dark hair in this one!!

Aunt Mimi was glad to finally become an aunt.  She is known as Mimi to all her nieces and nephews as Amelia is hard to pronounce. When Audrey was born, Charles said she had to call Amelia Aunt Amelia....none of this baby talk for Audrey. But Aunt Mimi nipped that in the bud. She is Aunt Mimi to EVERYONE.

Uncle Charles and Aunt Nancy were there. This is in the days when they said they did not want children. Ha Ha!! That It's a Gril balloon was prophetic.

Landon is thinking, "Oh no...I am not the baby anymore.

Kendall and Margaret ...cousins and friends to this day.

It is so fun to look back on special times. We will have Margaret as an overnight guest tomorrow while her parents get the house decorated for her Surprise Party!:)  She has requested Zaxbys for dinner, Neapolitan Ice Cream and Lucky Charms from the grocery store.:)  I do not think I have EVER purchased Neapolitan Ice Cream...I think Margaret just likes that word, Neapolitan.  What a girl!!

Margaret is a beautiful girl inside and out. You will have such a special weekend with her.

I grew up with Neapolitan ice cream as it was nearly the only kind my parents ever bought other than Coffee and Maple Walnut (which we didn't enjoy as kids, but I do now). We simply called it "Three Flavors" back then!

Thanks Friends..I will be sure and tell Margaret of all her birthday greetings. Katie, I love your Margaret's nick name. It would apply to our girl as well. Margaret is a family name on the Grimm side of the family but most are called Maggie. Our Margaret is definitely a Margaret. We had a good weekend with our girl and the Neapolitan ice cream was a hit for sure!
