Fall at Nanaland

I gave in and started fluffing my house for fall. I was having a little party for some of my church friends so I thought it would be a nice way to decorate for the occasion.

I brought out one of my favorite Fall Prairie Schooler samplers. It shares the breakfast bar with a Lizzie Kate Halloween piece.

I like to add this little basket of fall leaves to the bed in the guest room.

My tiered tray is in the guest room as well.

And finally...

My Good Stitch Witch sits on the bed ready to greet any overnight guests this fall.

On to the dining room....

I purchased two fall garlands at Target this week. I thought I would use them on my mantle but they just did not work so I came up with this idea.

I wound them around my buffet lamps and I really liked the look.

These garlands were in the dollar spot at Target...each garland was 3$.

My tea cart...

In the living room...all my darlins.

My new to me, coffee table got some fall accents. I love the turquoise and the orange together.

And even the guest bathroom got a few tweaks...

A good reminder...

Jolly Jack attends the towels...

It is fun to decorate for the seasons and my grandchildren have come to expect some fall things at Nana's house!

So that is my fall tour of Nanaland. I look forward to seeing your Fall Houses!

Arlene, your Fall Décor is magazine worthy!! I love all your pretty vignettes, especially the coffee bar. I have to stitch that LZ Oct 31 for my niece that was born on Oct 31, she would love it. The witches riding is stunning there too.
You did such great job with adding stitches to your décor, I'm sure your grands got a thrill out of seeing grandma's house all decked out in it's fall splendor! Thanks for sharing your photos. Mary

Mary, thanks so much! My stitching is a passion. I feel better when I get some stitching in every day. Mrs T, I loved those garlands on the lamps. As I am usually "stealing" other people's ideas I was thrilled to come up with this one on my own.

I LOVE the basket on the bed in the guest room! What a fun idea! Your home looks perfect for early fall/Halloween! I don't have much but will start getting some of it out next week, perhaps. We still have temps in the 90s here. Kind of hard to get into the mood for fall just yet!

Arlene, oh I love all your autumn decor! Every little bit of it!! The vines look perfect on your lamp shades. I hope to do some halloween decorating this weekend. I'm having the ladies over the 2nd Tuesday afternoon of the month and want to have it look spooktacular!
