Facebook Friday

Oh how I love my coffee in the morning!

I am always a nicer person after I have had my big Yeti full of coffee and some time reading my all the blog posts of my blogging friends.

My blog friend, Dawn, shared this one.

One of the hardest things about getting used to semi retirement for Marvin is the fact that I had all these little routines that I am having to adjust.  If you know me, I do not do well with change and as I get older it seems that change of any kind is harder. Am I the only one who feels this? Please tell me I am not crazy.:)

I am looking forward to tomorrow. Ben and the Grimmlins are coming to visit. Katy is celebrating her birthday with her girlfriends so Ben is coming here as he knows Mom will help him with the kiddos. ( I feel kind of like Marie on Everybody Loves Raymond.)

I love my coffee too and little routines that stay the same. But you're right...in retirement everything changes and every day is different. Enjoy your day and time with family. Hugs!

I hear you about routines, Arlene. I'm totally thrown off on the Mister's day off. Hope you have a great weekend with the grimmlins!

Oh dear, you are not crazy. I know I want Jeff to be able to retire because he works so hard, but I can tell you it is going to change my routines like crazy. It will definitely take some adjusting to.

Nope, you aren't the only one who doesn't like change. Enjoy your weekend with your family.

That’s what moms do! Help with the grands!
I have the same morning routine you do! Only I stay in bed to do mine. Louis Dean usually brings me that first cup of coffee and then I go to the den or gazebo to drink my second cup with him.
Change is hard. However, it does keep us from getting in a rut!

Arlene, First thing I do in the morning is put the coffee on, and it's my blog catch up time too. I love having an hour or so in the am all by myself. I'm an early riser and my husband is a night owl. Enjoy your family time this weekend. Mary

Coffee is a must in the morning and the afternoon and the evening! I am a creature of habit and need a quiet cup alone (except with the puppy) before I can be sociable. My husband is the same way so it's nice we can wake up apart together! xo

Can you believe I've never had a cup of coffee ever? But I do have my habits that are hard to break too...like a diet coke every morning. RJ
