Saturday on North Avenue

Georgia Tech is also known in Georgia as North Avenue Trade School. Located in downtown Atlanta, it is a pretty campus and all the nerdy students pull for their Yellow Jackets. On Saturday we faced our fiercest rivals, The Georgia Bulldogs.  Marvin and I both felt that if we won on Saturday it would truly be a Thanksgiving Miracle.  But being fans, you hope for the best as you pull for your underdog  team.

Wearing my White and Gold for the game.

I got a new Tech shirt at the book store and pulled it on over my gold sweater.  A Georgia fan actually took our photo for us. They aren't all bad.:)

Sure enough, Georgia showed why they are a top team and gave our Jackets a hard time on the field.  We headed back to NoGA, listening to the Iron Bowl on the radio. Our secondary team also lost...our Tide failed to roll. Sure we had some injuries that put us behind the eight ball but hats off to Auburn. They played a great game. Now we are pulling for Auburn to beat the Dawgs on Saturday when the SEC championship is played for all to see.

We sure enjoyed our season tickets for GA Tech Football but like all good things, it has come to an end.  Win or lose we will always yell, Go Jackets.

You looked fabulous in the gold and then the new shirt. That silver fox came out for sure. Win or lose, I have a great time at the games. I keep it all in focus.

Love that picture, y'all look great. It's good to have a favorite team to root for, my son-in-law is a die-hard University of Texas fan.

You two are so cute rooting for the Yellow Jackets. My husband wanted to go to Georgia Tech growing up but stayed home and attended New Jersey Institute of Technology. I was rooting for your team but I was rooting for Auburn to beat Alabama. I will be rooting for Auburn in the championship game. We finally got a new coach so maybe we can compete next year! RJ
