My Girl Margaret

Many people tell me that Margaret is my mini me. She does look a bit like me when I was young, tho she is prettier!!  She enjoys crafting so that is another way she takes after her Nana.  Nana and Grandpa gifted Margaret with a tote for her very own craft supplies. She loved it.  She was busy working on something and before we left Birmingham, Margaret brought this to me.

Here Nana...its a cross for your cross wall.

It made my heart melt...

The minute we got home, the cross went up on my wall.

I am going to have to find a way to add it to my collection...my thinking cap is on!

Isn't it wonderful to see a grand embrace something that is dear to you? My grandmother loved handwork, my mother and sisters enjoy needlework and I am hoping Margaret may be my grand girl who loved to take up a needle and thread and create something lovely.

What a precious gift Margaret created for you! You could mount it in a frame and then hang the frame to become part of your collection on your wall.

So very precious, Arlene! All of my older granddaughters have done some needlework and other creative things. It's so much fun to have this in common with them.

Oh that makes my heart melt Arlene. She is precious to do such a thoughtful gift for her Nana. I was thinking exactly the same thing that Robin suggested. It would make her lovely gift stand out. RJ

How precious! I love Robin's idea. You might even put some craft paper in the background to make it stand out.

She is such a sweet young lady! The cross is definitely a keeper! Glue a loop on the back and it will be good to go!
