Stitching Saturday

Good Stitchy Saturday.  I had my first and second finish for 2018.

The farm is done...now to take it to the framer!

And this finish will be made into a small pillow for my February dough bowl.

This pattern was a freebie online from The Workbasket. It is titled Hearts Galore and I stitched it on even weave with the DMC variegated red and pink.

Now on to the patterns I had to have!

Because I don't have enough Christmas charts...

See above...it applies to this one as well.

I just love this pattern...Of Female Arts in Usefulness The Needle far exceeds the Rest. So true. And on the right you will se my Gooseberry Patch Coupon Keeper, a Christmas gift from my sis, Kristi. I am going to try to be better about couponing this year.

And last...an FFO.( Fully Finished Object)

My little cottage is very cute but I am sticking to my guns on that fabric!! My first and last use of the polka dots.

Have a good weekend friends!

I love Foothills Farm ...well, I love all of them. the hearts turned out cute. The variegated thread was a good idea on this one.

They are all so nice, Arlene! Foothills Farm, the heart design, and I love your January piece. I understand why you would not use polka dots again -- I would feel the same!-- but it does look so cute, as if it is snowing. You are a stitching inspiration, my friend!

The hearts will make a sweet pillow for the Valentine season and I love the farm. Be sure and share a picture when it comes back from the framers!

The polka dots/snow is cute but I can imagine how difficult it was to work with. I always enjoy seeing your projects!

I love all your work! That polka dot one is so cute, but I can understand how you feel about it after dealing with it once!

Oh I love them all Arlene but I will pick foothill farms as my favorite. Sweet, sweet patterns you chose to finish. I look forward to seeing you stitch them all. RJ

What beautiful projects, Arlene--you are one fast stitcher!! I do love that sweet January cottage--sorry the polka dots were a bear to work with. And that new stash! Oh, I may have to buy the first one for that sweet deer alone--he is precious :)
