Bend it Like Elliott!

If you are not familiar with the film, Bend it Like Beckham, it is about soccer. And a pretty good movie too! We have a new Soccer player in the family. Elliott joins cousin Landon in this sport that has become very popular here in the states.

Margaret made a sign to cheer on her little brother. One thing about Ben and Katy's children, they love and support each other. I think having a special needs brother has made them compassionate children.

Here is all the crew after the game.  I know I am their Nana, but I am pretty proud of all three Grimmlins.

I had not heard of the movie but I know many folks whose grandchildren are playing soccer now. Such a sweet photo of these siblings. They are special to me too!

You have the most adorable grandkids Arlene. So happy they are all experiencing soccer. It's a great sport for children. Our son Mike played when he was young and was very good at it. Could use both feet to score and was chosen to play on a traveling team. We drove all over the state to watch him. It was such a fun time. It brings back many happy memories. RJ

Arlene, Hooray for Elliot! Isaac plays soccer too. I love watching the games. All the children running around kicking (trying to kick) the ball. Your grands are just adorable!

And Surprise! I started a crafty blog on blogger. I've been more creative lately and it seems that is what I mostly post about so why not! I hope that you will join and follow me. xo

It is linked to my name/profile but here is the link too

Oh, Arlene, you have every reason to be proud of these young ones...whether you are their Nana or not. They are beautiful and I always enjoy seeing families that the children support one another. They surely have wonderful role models in their parents. xx

Sweet photos and sweet words! I think that kids who have special needs in their family, do have extra care and empathy. That makes me like them all the more!
