Land of the Free

I started this small chart on Saturday and finished it on Monday. It was a fun quick stitch and so enjoyable after being stitchless for so long.  My doctor told me that typing and stitching are good therapy to get my fingers moving again.

This is one of the New Market charts from Nashville and as I know I will not stitch this one again I am going to pass the stash.

Please do not use the word giveaway in your comments. If you wish to be entered into this gift a way, please tell me your favorite cross stitch designer.  I will share the winner on Stitching Saturday March 24th.

Good Luck!!

That is very pretty. Thankful that you can begin to stitch - I know you have missed it. God bless you this weekend.

It is adorable. Glad you are able to stitch. I can't wait to see what you do with it. I have been steadily stitching on my Bluebird Out My Window by With Thy Needle and Thread. I am torn between favorite designers ...With Thy Needle and Thread and Blackbird Designs. Of course, I like Plum Street Samplers too.

So glad you can stitch again. Beautiful piece. I ❤️ Heartstring Samplery and Plum Street Samplers, but I’ll stitch anything. Love reading your blog.

I love the quick and easy patterns, I can't seem to stay focused on one project for too long. There are so many designers that I like, I guess Lizzie Kate is my favorite and she retired!! There's still a lot of her patterns around.

The Sampler Girl has been my all time favorite.

Two years ago I fell and broke my wrist. It's amazing it happens so quick, but I remember immediately thinking of all the things I had planned and hoped it wasn't broken. Heal quickly!

I'm quite late in getting my blog reading done today. Hubby was home from work and a few things popped up so the day was gone before I knew it.

Your stitching is beautiful...as always and I am glad that you are able to do that now. I know you must miss it a lot when you can't do it.

A bit of news here on our homefront...my brother had his surgery today and got along fine. The doctor told my sister-in-law that the surgery went well. Thank you for praying for him.

Great to see you stitching again, Arlene--and with the doctor's blessing! Love this little finish :)

I'm sure you know my favorite designer since you read my blog--Prairie Schooler! Thank goodness I purchased so many of their charts along the way... They are such classics and never seem to age to me.

I hope I'm not too late in entering your - won't say the word-. My favorite cross stitch designer is you. I know you don't really design them but apart from your posts, I don't know of any. xo

Well how adorable is that??? So happy you can stitch again. That was a quick stitch and so cute too. I love so many designers but I would have to say Brenda Gervais of With thy Needle and Thread and believe me my checkbook can attest to that. RJ
