Small Group Fun

I  have been a member of this small group at my church for four years now. We meet once a month and we have all become great friends. For our March meeting we decided to travel to The Old Cookstove for dinner. It is located in the Mennonite Community of Massey, Alabama.

You enter and pay for the buffet.

The buffet is filled with all sorts of good food.

Their ham is delicious. Also home made bread and rolls are available.

Here is my favorite thing....homemade vanilla ice cream.

We were all full and happy when another guest snapped our photo!

If you are ever in this area, stop by but only on Thursday, Friday or Saturday. Check out their website for more information.

Such a great photo of you and your friends. The ham and rolls look tasty and the ice cream would be very tempting! Such a cozy and immaculate little restaurant. Hope you have a nice day. xo Mildred

What a nice outing for you and the ladies. I visited a similar place in Amish country here in Indiana. Wonderful!

It looks like a fun time was had with you and your friends, Arlene. I think the homemade vanilla ice cream would have been my appetizer. Enjoy your Monday!

Good friends, good food= a great evening! I'm usually not a fan of buffets but this restaurant looks great! I'm going to have to write down all these great places you go to in case I'm ever in the area.
