Stitching Saturday

As predicted, not much stitching was done this week but that is okay! I had two finishes...

From Lizzie Kate's Summer Smalls....I modified it to my own taste.

And my pig from Prairie Schooler Barnyard Animals.

I did change the color from brown and white to a pinky pig like we had on our farm. Instead of standing on the grass, he is in a mud puddle. Both pieces need to be pressed...no ironing done this week either!! I plan to turn my barnyard animals into Christmas ornaments for my tree at Grimmwood.

One bright spot for me was the arrival of my Colour and Cotton Flosses.

I love the Flamingo...it just screams warm summer days. I think we are all ready for some warmer weather.

Hope all my stitchy friends are enjoying their stitching with no visits from the Frog.

All are cute. Jeff and I are out to breakfast and he was teasing about my phone. We laid them down and I asked him if he wanted to see if Arlene had a Stitching Saturday post. He agrees to let me look! :)

Lovely finishes, Arlene! I like the changes you made to the PS Pig. What pretty threads you received, very spring like!
