Update

I was at the doctor's office this morning. I got to see some pictures of my new hardware.

and the side view

I will set off the airport sensors now!!

I have permission to type, stitch and drive.

I got a new light weight splint that I can take off for showers and I have some exercises to do. No weight  bearing for three more weeks. I go back March 28th and I hope to get the splint off. Thanks for all your prayers.

A wonderful report, Arlene! God is good! I will continue to pray for the healing process.

I remember when I broke my wrist I also broke the femur in the opposite leg and the nurse came in and gently tapped my leg and said,"This is not going to break...it has a rod in it. But THIS (and she pointed to my wrist) we have to be very careful with." I'm glad you are a good patient and follows the doctor's orders. xx

Arlene, I'm so impressed that you got the go-ahead to stitch so quickly. You are healing well! I am sure you were thrilled with that news. (if the plate is titanium you won't set off the mags) So, what is going to be your first project to work on? Have a great stitching weekend. Mary

Fantastic new Arlene...you can stitch again. Wow that was quick. I had an accident of my own last Tuesday and that is why I've been off the computer. I fell on my bathroom floor on I guess a wet spot. My legs went down like I was going to do a split (thought I was going to rip my whole body open) so to compensate I turned my legs in and came down hard on my knees. OH MY they have been killing me and I'm having a hard time navigating steps, getting in bed etc. I couldn't even get up from the computer chair! But, I can stitch!!! RJ
