Sunflowers

My sweet sisters went to visit a Sunflower Patch in Calhoun, Georgia on Saturday.

There were all sorts of colors.

The originals are still my favorite. By the way, Sis Kristi, took these photos.

Here are the two prettiest Sunflowers...

My sister Leta...she has always been outstanding in her field.

And Kristi..doesn's she look pretty with her salt and pepper hair. Her hair was jet black as a child and young adult and she colored it for a while but now she is going natural. I think it looks great on her.

And now for a special treat...

I saw these cute Pioneer Woman measuring cups in Walmart and I thought, what a great give away these would make. So leave a comment on this post. Don't use the word giveaway please. You must be a follower  or a regular poster here on my blog in order to be entered in the drawing. I want one of my faithful readers to win the prize and not a person who just comments to get a prize.  That is one reason I put the contest at the end of the post!! And buried it in my Sunflower Post.   I will announce the winner on Friday Five. Good Luck!!

The sunflowers are adorable as well as the sisters. I am jealous. I always wanted a sister. Yes, Kristi's hair looks great. Best thing I ever did to quit coloring.

I think I may be the opposite of you...I like the different types of sunflowers that are out there now. My hubby planted some of the different kinds one year just to see if he could change my mind...and he did. :)

I do like Kristi's salt and pepper hair! Reminds me of my mom at that age.

So true about the salt and pepper hair. I think I would look younger if I colored my hair (on a good day, it's just about the color of Kristi's) but you know, I just don't have time for maintenance. She looks lovely!

The sunflowers are amazing! Thanks for sharing!

You are so lucky to have your two sisters nearby, Arlene! Mine are in NY and MA--a long way from Pennsylvania. We only see each other once or twice a year... Kristi has a nice full head of hair and it looks lovely uncolored. I'm still coloring mine--not sure when I'll get up my nerve to stop :) I was in Walmart just yesterday but missed those scoops--they are so unique and I love the fun colors :)

I love sunflowers...they are one of my very favorite flowers. I received the most beautiful bouquet the other day filled with sunflowers, dahlias and hydrangeas. It was gorgeous.

I love your sister's hair too. She looks wonderful I also think the measuring cups are adorable. RJ

Please don't put my name in for the drawing as I used to be a more regular commenter but now am more of a lurker! I intend to comment a lot of the time but need to actually do it! Just had to say that both you and your sister have lovely hair! I would stop coloring mine in an instant if it looked like either of yours! Also, the sunflowers are beautiful!

Tina, so glad to see your comment. I have been missing you. Glad you like the Loreal products. They have really helped my hair to be softer and smoother. Your first comment did come through but I read your second comment as well.:) Thanks for dropping by Nanaland.
