Kendall's Turn...

Kendall took some time last week to go to Priceville Middle School to put her locker in order and to pick up her class schedule.

I think that is a fake smile.

She has a bottom locker as she is in the 7th grade this year. The 8th graders get the top lockers.

Kendall is taking up a new interest...

she wants to learn to play the bass guitar. Her dad's friend is loaning her this quitar so she can see if she really wants to put some time and effort into it. I told her to prepare for sore fingers. I wanted to play the guitar when I was her age and my fingers could not take it. I stayed with the piano....and don't get excited. I play only for my self when I get a chance.

More school pictures coming!!

Good luck to Kendall as she tries out the guitar! And I would love to hear YOU playing the piano, Arlene.

It seems so early to be going back to school but I was always excited to go. They are adorable and smart and talented like you and your hubby! Hugs!

Best wishes to Kendall on her guitar playing endeavor! Locker life; I can't imagine having a bottom locker.

School starts early in the South! Kendall looks great holding the guitar. I love your secretary!! I took piano lessons as a teenager and tried again as an adult, no natural talent at all!!

I also had to choose between guitar and piano and stuck with piano.

Kendall has grown into such a lovely young woman! I can remember when she was just a little girl! School lockers are fun. I have dreams about my high school one and I can't remember the combination! Yikes!

Love the photos of Kendall. That locker is very low. We had one long locker back in the stone age. I'm sure she will enjoy this year of school. RJ
