Two Pennies for Frank

When we were in Las Vegas visiting our friends, the Johnsons, we attended a Frank Sinatra show on the Strip.  Well it was a Frank Sinatra impersonator of course but we really enjoyed this special evening with our friends.

Melinda sent me this picture last week.

Melinda and Gary visited Frank's grave in Palm Springs. It is a custom to leave a penny if you visit Mr Sinatra. So Gary is pointing to the pennies he and Melinda left for me and Marvin!! This just tickled and delighted me.

It is always good to look back at memories shared with friends.

He was quite an icon and a great singer. George's uncle Tony was his guitarist for his shows and taught Frank to play the guitar. My Mom loved the song "My Way" and played it often. RJ

Frank left us with his music to enjoy and his tombstone to visit.
