Saturday Stitching

This is a short Saturday Stitching today as we are getting ready to take some time off for Holy Week. I will be taking a blog break to refresh and rewind but I will return on the Monday after Easter.

First I had to share this shirt that I ordered from the Fat Quarter Shop.

If you are a Chelsea and Priscilla Fan, you need this shirt!! I admit that every Saturday I anxiously await the notification that P and C have uploaded their weekly Floss Tube.  I really enjoyed checking out the Fat Quarter Shop online. While I am not a quilter, they have lots of unique fabrics and notions that really tempted me.  Well let's be honest...I am always tempted and I usually give in!!

Here are a few of the Patriotic Charts  I hope to finish for this summer.

I have hd this chart for years...I think it will be a quick stitch.

Another one from the Stash

Who doesn't love George and Martha?? They can be displayed in February as well as July.

A new release by Abby Rose. I love building houses!!

Have a blessed Holy Week and a Happy Easter Stitchy Friends.

Enjoy your little blog break and refresh your mind. I am trying to finish up one more patriotic stitch this week and then I am moving on to something else. I thought of you the other day. You have noted how much I love stitching little houses. I pulled out a VERY OLD throw from the closet the other day to put on my chair that Gus seems to have taken over. I don't want him to ruin it since it is a tapestry type chair. It has houses on it and is very 90's looking. I thought to myself, "I guess I have liked that for a long time." I did put back a pattern that has a house on it and decided that was enough for one year. Maybe next year or maybe I will pull it out next year and pass it on:)

Yes, the Fat Quarter Shop is quite the enabler and now they are carrying a bit of cross stitch supplies. They have some wooden items that would nice for either finishing or organizing. Wishing you a wonderful weekend, Arlene!

Arlene, I learned about Priscialla and Chelsea from you and I too don't miss a Saturday to watch them. I'm glad you treated yourself to their cute shirt!! I think they have done a lot to bring new and old stitchers back into the world of cross stitch!

I love all your charts and will look forward to seeing them stitched. Enjoy your respite and have a Blessed Easter. Mary

The patriotic designs are all lovely! It will be fun to see how you finish them. And the shirt is so cute!

Still hoping to get back into stitching. We will see! Maybe if life ever slows down ...
