Time with Grandma

Ben and all three of the Grimmlins went to stay at Grimmwood for the weekend to allow Katy to have a bit of a rest from being a mama.

You are never too big to sit on Grandma's lap!

Daddy was fortunate to have Margaret along to help him keep these boys in line.

And here is my favorite picture....

Sis, Leta, caught this picture of Grandma and Baylor.  Looking at this picture you would never guess he is on the Autism spectrum. He just looks like a handsome, happy 8 year old.  One of the things that breaks my heart is that I do not "know" Baylor like I know my other grands. I just wish I could see inside his brain and know what he is thinking. I hope he knows Nana loves him and wants to see him make great strides in the years ahead. Again, I thank all of you who pray for Baylor. It is such a blessing to our family.

Beautiful photos OF YOUR FAMILY, our grand daughter is 8 also! On the spectrum as well, Baylor looks happy and I truly believe in my heart that children such as Baylor know that we love them, they may have trouble showing the proper response emotions themselves but they know, I find myself everyday saying the same thing about our grand girl, THAT IS, I WONDER WHAT SHES THINKING LOL,

Arlene, that picture is just wonderful. You will treasure that always. IT is funny that he hugged her...it does make you want to see in that little brain. Anyway, it is just heartwarming.

Mama does need some 'me' time now and then and so glad she got that time. Baylor is a special young man in so many ways.

I am a grandma with two grandchildren on the Spectrum. One, my seven-year-old, is very loving, and fairly easy-going. He has his moments...The four-year-old is quite a different story--non-verbal, with other disorders. She is a HANDFUL! God has given us these littles because He knows we will love and care for them, even if we can't "see what is in their minds". Enjoy Baylor!!!

What wonderful photos and memories! I'm sure Baylor feels your love. He is doing so well, wrapped in everyone's caring arms and with God's presence always with him. He remains on my prayer list!!

I was unaware of this challenge your family is facing with Baylor. He couldn't be in a better family! May the Lord bless you all with strength, wisdom, discernment, and peace. He is a cute guy!
