Saturday Stitching

My big excitement for this week was getting a call from the framer that Yuletide At Thistle Hill was ready and waiting for me at Slates Framing in Hartselle.

I love this stitch!

I hung it on the wall with my Prairie Schoolers and I plan to leave it up all year just as I leave up the Prairie Schooler Christmas Village.

I moved one of my PS villages to the guest room

It is perfect there.

I also did some tidying in my craft closet.

I found the small craft cart at Aldis and it is perfect for holding embellishments etc. I divided up my fabrics into seasons and put them in the big drawers. Now I can find what I am looking for without any problem. Tidying brings such  a productive feeling.

I also went through my charts and put some aside to put on the Give a Way Table at the retreat I am going to in Huntsville in January.  I had some impulse purchases that I knew I would never stitch but I was enabled by Floss Tube. I am learning to be more discerning.:)

It looks fantastic. Those PS stitches are just some of the best and the one in your guest room does go perfectly there. Organizing is indeed so satisfying.

Arlene, I love, "Yultide on Thistle Hill." The stitching and framing are beautiful and it is just perfect hanging with you PS villages. I have a couple PS Villages in my stash and every time I see how nice yours look I know I have to get one out to stitch. I am trying to thin out patterns I bought without thinking, or were my Mothers and I know I will never do. I am also trying to thin out ones I have already stitched and don't plan on stitching again. Can I send some to you to donate to your stitching group? Thank you so much.

Oh Arlene, I love your framed stitch. The frame molding you picked out looks like it was made for it. It looks good with your PS pieces. Good for you on tidying up your craft area! Wishing you an enjoyable Saturday!

Love your work, especially the newest one you just got back, and organzing will help so much in future.

The framing is perfect for your stitch and complements the others so well. Well done!! I just love your display in your guest room!! I'm going to undertake a big job in my craft room. It's a disaster and I'm going to do a major overhaul and hope I can part with things...Whenever I get rid of something it never fails that I will need it shortly after!

Oh, I love seeing this finished and framed, Arlene, as I recently bought that chart. I love the fact that the designs remind me of Prairie Schoolers :) And to see all of yours hung together is quite a sight. Great idea to leave them up all year. I am working on the middle harvest PS right now and loving it. Hope to have it finished by Thanksgiving.

Enjoy your Sunday! ♥
