Saturday Stitching

Back to a Rotation this week.....I am enjoying it after all the monogamous stitching.  Here is a little WIP parade.

One white house is complete.

I added  quilt stars and  leaves to Easter Parade.

I started Susan's Colorful Cats. I did manage to finish the border after I took this photo.

September Word play. It was so strange stitching back to school when schools are cancelled here for the rest of the 2019 2020 year.

I got some happy mail today. I am thankful for online shops this week.

Here is the Kringles chart and the small package   contains the flosses minus called for Silks. However I will not be using silks so I will substitute with floss from my stash.
The called for fabric is Parisian Gray 30 count. Thanks Ann and Company at Shepherds Needle in Little Rock Arkasas.

I ordered some special Aida from Jen at Jen's Stitching Niche. I really enjoyed stitching Lantern Lane on Aida.

Ok....here is my chart from Jen. I had this chart and I was working on the Farmer's wife when I lost my chart. The Farmer was in the project bag but his wife was no where to be found. I think I must have left it at the retreat in Huntsville in January. That is the last time I remember stitching on it.  So once the farmer's wife is finished, I will be passing the stash.

And finally from Needle Case Goodies....

By Brenda Gervais. I have some buttons from my Stitching Friends Forever box that I will put to good use in the button jar.

Lots of designers are doing freebies as a gift for stitchers during the quarantine.

Here is one I printed off...Easter Delivery by Shannon Christine Designs. It is so cute. Check it out on Shannon Christine's Facebook page. Her designs are so whimsical!

Happy Stitching Ladies!

Lovely patterns from all my favorite designers!! I can't wait to see your adaptation on the Kringles Pattern Arlene. I think it's so neat that you are changing it up to your store. Lots of progress on Easter Parade, I'm sure you will have it done by Easter! Are you going to frame the bunny? So happy to hear you will be using SFF buttons for your finish!! Collector is a good word for us!! That pattern is very sweet. Stay well...

Arlene, I enjoyed your Saturday stitching post. Well done on completing one of the White Houses! I enjoyed seeing the progress on the other two stitches as well. That Fawn fabric is very pretty! Enjoy your Saturday and weekend!

Great job on building the house. I have a strawberry house still waiting in the wings. I like that fawn Aida too. I need to go check her out. I am going to try and be diligent until Easter on the blue jays so I can get it done. I think if I get after I can do it. Always look forward to Saturday Stitching.

What fun new stash, Arlene! I just love the Kringles one, too--not sure if I will order it now or wait a bit. I have plenty here to keep me busy! Lovely progress on all of your projects. I'm sure you'll have the bunny finished before Easter (which reminds me, I need to try to force myself to get at least some Easter decorations out and on display this weekend!). Take care now... ♥

Arlene, you have been busy!! They all look so sweet. Do you ever get confused and start doing a wrong pattern on the wrong project? I fear I would!

I love your WIP parade posts, Arlene! Thanks for sharing. I had “Two White Houses” in my wish list at 123stitch and when I saw yours, I went ahead and ordered it. Like I need ANOTHER pattern! Haha! Your photo of your progress is stunning. I love the colors. I ran out of DMC 3371 on a Prairie Schooler I’m stitching, and with local stores closed it seemed silly to order just one skein of DMC without ordering some other things to go with it. Perfect excuse to order that LHN pattern (and a couple others!).

I hope you are healthy and safe at home. This stay-at-home isolation has been the story of my life since my surgery in December. What has gotten me through it is learning to be patient and accept the situation. I’ve really been enjoying the time to stitch, and I enjoy binge-watching good TV shows on Prime. My husband still goes in to work, as he teaches at a juvenile detention facility so they are deemed an essential/public safety service.

Sending lots of love and virtual hugs your way.

The first one pictured, with the two white houses, is my very favorite. It is beautiful!

Lots of wonderful projects! I'm tempted by the Farmyard Parade....and also the Kringles! The more I stitch, the more I'm enjoying aida more than linen....but, for now I will use what I have since Market had brought so much to my doorstep! lol!
