Friday Five

1. This candy is the devil.

My little sister, Leta, brought me a bag of these last week. They are TOO Tempting. Do not allow them to hop into your grocery cart or you will be done for!!

2. Face Masks

When your jewelry rack becomes a face mask rack. :)

3. Bees

The Bees are back at Grimmwood. Marvin is giving it one more try. If these ladies fly the hive, that will be our last endeavor at bee keeping. Marvin went back to put them in their hives this week. Those are Nucs....the little houses they live in as they acclimate to their new surroundings. Right now black berries are blooming so there are some nice blooms for them.

4  Home Cooked Meal

I got in the mood to  a make home cooked meal for the two of us on Monday night.  It was delicious. As I told a friend, I cant let Marvin get used to this.:)

5. May Day

Remember when people used to put posies on door knobs to welcome the first day of May? Well neither do I but I have heard about it. I am sending out this virtual posy to all my blog friends. May brings hope to our hearts that we may be able to get back to something that approaches normal.

Those brownie M & Ms do look like the devil not even in disguise. Nope, I had better not even try one.
I always remember reading about May Day but it was never a thing, so maybe we should start a new tradition...afterall, it is your birthday month:) I did put out my May stitch yesterday and thought April has been beyond weird in news but one of the most beautiful I can remember in years. Ready for the weather to continue. Who ever would have thought we would be all concerned about masks. Not in a million years. I have a space one, a white floral one, and of course an Auburn one. We are headed to Auburn for the weekend. We haven't been in ages. Mom, me, and Jeff just to get away. We will be staying in though. Just some more porch sitting and the likes. I may or may not take my computer.

It’s so good to visit you again! That jewelry holder sure makes a great mask holder!

Super Friday Five to read, Arlene! I saw an ad for those M&Ms, but haven't actually seen them in the store. Must check! So, what did you cook for the two of you? Happy May!

Arlene... you had me at the M&Ms. They are my favorite candy in the whole world!! Love that idea for hanging masks. I have one and I keep losing it. I have about 1000 ordered but on hold from Amazon. Enjoy your weekend and stay healthy.

Those M&Ms do look wicked!! Thanks for the warning! Yes, I remember celebrating May Day with a Maypole and leaving flowers on neighbors' doorsteps. Those were the days! Good luck with the new bees!! Keep us posted!

The M&M's look good!
Life has changed hasn't it? We have masks hanging with our jewelry and we now compliment each other on cute masks!
Thanks for the posie!

I don't know about the basket of posies!! But, when we were kids we would set up a pole and I can't think of the name of the krinkled paper but we would weave it around the pole.
I had a chuckle...what do you eat most nights if you don't cook a homemade meal?
My husband loves to cook so he does most of it but other than going out to eat we cook from scratch.
I really hope Marvin has good luck with the bees this year. Wearing masks and seeing everyone else wear them makes me feel sad....I sure hope life gets back to normal sooner than later.

Wow! That is some yummy looking home cooked meal! Love the dinnerware too!
Now I'm going to have to try those brownie mm's... my previous addiction was the caramel mm's... have you tried the mm bars of chocolate? I think they say it's 4 servings...but mine was more like 2 servings....within an hour of each other?!?!?! lol!
