Friday Five

1. Happy Birthday to year old.    This was made about a month ago as Mommy was letting Joshua try on his birthday outfit.  His Kim grandparents sent this to him.  Quite Dapper.

And here is a picture of Audrey on her fifth birthday.

2. New Door Wreath

I can take off the bow and interchange it for a patriotic bow come the end of May.  Thanks Pineapples of Decatur.

3. My hostas.

I love my front beds at this time of the year before they get rather tired looking.

4. A new picture from Cousin Scott....he loves taking pictures at Foothills Farm.

It is glad my parents bought this place 66 years ago.

5. A new Corona Cross for my Cross Wall.

I have not purchased a cross for my wall in a while but when I saw this one for half price at Hobby Lobby, I had to bring it home.

I also wanted to take a moment to welcome some new followers and new commenters.  I am always so happy to see a new name pop up in the comments. Several have come to visit from blogs on my blog roll so thank you for taking your time to leave a comment at Nanaland. I appreciate each and everyone of you who stops to visit.

Love your Birthday grand photos!! They are both so adorable and getting big!! Your wreath is stunning!! Great idea to change out the bows, did you buy or are you going to make the patriotic bow? Cousin Scott is a very talented photographer!! Such a gorgeous photo. Your new cross will fit in nicely with your wall.

Happy Birthday to the cute! Love your new wreath and so wise to be able to change the ribbon per season. Especially like your wall of crosses and the new one is so nice. Hope you have a happy Friday.

What a great blog today, Arlene. Your grands are growing so fast. It's hard to believe your little one is a year old, already. They are beautiful! I love your cross wall, I don't think I have ever seen a picture of it. And, your new cross is perfect. Hostas were some of my folks favorites, I have never had much success growing them at our home. Thank you so much for sharing today. Many blessings to you and yours.

Arlene, I love the newest addition to your cross wall. And thank you for sharing a picture of the wall as well. Happy birthday to Joshua! I can't get over how quickly that year went. And a belated birthday wish to Miss Audrey. Your new wreath is a beauty; love the bows and the cotton. Cousin Scott's photo is incredible! If I didn't know better, that could have been taken down the road from my house.

I have a wonderful cross I would love to give you one of for your wall. My grandparents founded this church many years ago and we still worship there. We had to redo our church because of rotten wood and replace the ceiling. We were able to get the big timbers from the floor and we cut them up into small pieces they are full of the square nails and worm and termite holes. We put small crosses on the old wood. They are rustic crosses. this was so that everyone in our church would have something from our beautiful church in the country. We collected money and helped pay some of the cost of redoing our church. My husband and I did most of the work, we have a few left and I would love to send you one I enjoy your blog so very much. Just e mail or text me and I will send you one if you can tell me where to send it. Pattie Davidson or 706 5371402

Happy Birthday to Joshua! He is looking fine!
And Audrey is growing up right before our eyes.
I love Hosta's. We have a lot of them as our yard is so shady.
Cousins Scott's photos are always a treat.
That wreath is gorgeous - I want one too!

I am rather late checking in today. It wasn't a bad day but just one of those days when Tucker didn't give me much down time. That wreath is beautiful. It will be great with a patriotic ribbon too. The store you mention must be like many in a small town in Alabama. And yes, spring time in the yard and beds is so nice before they get really tired from the heat just like us. This has truly been a spring to remember here. It has to be cold elsewhere because it has been unbelievable wonderful here for months on end. I think the heat is about to arrive soon.
The kids are cute!!!
