Cracker Barrel Monday

My friends and I had breakfast at Cracker Barrel on Thursday and I took the time to get some pictures of all the pretties in the store for you all to see. It is mostly Christmas and if you do not buy something you like early, then it will be gone later. Ask me how I know???

This old fashioned Christmas Tree took me right back to my childhood.

You know I love houses of any sort and these two were so cute

This platter caught my eye.  Red trucks are still popular.

This tree had lots of cardinal ornaments on it. I know many of you love cardinals. Click on the tree to enlarge the picture and you can browse the selection.
Pretty but too pricy for me.
Cutest snowmen ornaments. These would make a nice little Happy Gift for someone.
They always have a pink and cream tree but I am a traditionalist when it comes to Christmas.
More snowmen. And more red trucks!
These snow ladies just made me smile. And they could stay out through January.
Little Boys would like this Santa in a  red truck. It looks like he is decorating the shelves at Cracker Barrel. Again, Red Truck.....I wonder what people will do with all the red trucks when this trend fizzles?
Thanksgiving and Christmas  on this display.
A very pretty cardinal light.
More ornaments.
And one last display that features NASA...this one is for Sandy at I Majored in Home Economics. With the Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Cracker Barrel keeps out some NASA things for tourists.

One thing I noticed this year is that there was almost no Halloween displays. Of course I guess each Cracker Barrel decides what they will display to a point so you might find more Halloween things at a different store. I always enjoy browsing the aisles at Cracker Barrel and I usually do some of my Christmas shopping there as well. I am seeing posts on Instagram with a Christmas countdown! It will be here before we know it. Even in this Covid year, time is marching on!

I love Cracke Barrel and seeing all their Christmas decorations. I almost hate going because I want them all! Happy Labor Day!

Arlene, Oh, I know to well about not buying something from CB when I see it. Right now I'm drinking out of one of 2 mugs I bought last year and I have been kicking myself for not buying more. I see they have the same mugs now but with cardinals on it instead of my Momma bear and 2 cubs. I was hoping CB would bring that design back. I enjoy looking at the displays, now, what did you buy??

Love your Cracker Barrel posts. I haven't been to one in a while but I think their shop is one of the best. When we would travel when our sons were young, I would suggest Cracker Barrel for breakfast and they would say it was because I wanted to shop! True!

Oh, you temptress! I see several things that call to me in your pretty photos, Arlene... I am still avoiding going into restaurants, though, so your pictures may have to suffice for this year. Did you come home with anything?

All of this was so much fun to see, Arlene! I particularly like the platter with the woodsy edge and the red truck farm scene. Personally, I think red trucks (or any old trucks) are sort of classic and iconic. If the trend ever does fizzle, I for one will be keeping and displaying my trucks.

Thanks for sharing Cracker Barrel with us. I too love to shop and eat there, but we aren't going out to restaurants yet. However, it was great to see all the displays!

CB always has the prettiest things. There is a Priester's on the way to Auburn on I65 that also has the best things. I wonder if just like everyone else we are looking forward to 2021 and so hoping things will be better that if we get to Christmas it will be like it is there. Who know? I am cleaning a little today and helping Jeff get the boat ready for our trip and then in the morning I am popping out some fall. Maybe if I create it - it will come and I will feel better:)

Arlene, I always enjoy seeing your CB posts. Since the nearest one is 75+ minutes away and my fall stitching retreat in Williamsburg is canceled (Mom and I always have lunch there when we arrive), I am thrilled for your photo share from CB. Either many of those red trucks will be donated or put in the trash if and when the red truck craze ends or maybe painted. Happy Monday!

Arlene, I always love your visits to Cracker Barrel! We finally went out to CB last Friday, but it was really hard to browse, like I would like to. There is always so much to see in a small amount of space. Thank you so much for sharing...

I do love Cracker Barrel but ours is so out of the way for us to get to that we rarely go there. Joe isn't that crazy about the food (I love it) so it is kind of off our radar. I love seeing all the pretties you show us, though! It is so hard for me to even think about Christmas right now. Gosh. It will be here before we know it.

They always have the cutest things! Unfortunately, the Cracker Barrels around here are not open. You can only order food to go. Other restaurants are open so I don't know why they are holding out.

Oh my goodness! I'm going to have to get to Cracker Barrel soon! So many lovely Christmas decorations!
You know....I'm not sure COVID restrictions would allow for Trick or Treating? I guess some may cancel this year? I'm still going to decorate for fall and halloween though...

What a fabulous review of Cracker Barrel goodies. I wish I wasn't restricted away from all restaurants because of underlying conditions because I would run over there right now. I love cardinals beyond words and it looked like they have so much this year. The snow queens were awesome too. Are you going back to get some things...you know you can't resist??? RJ
