Susan's Shenanigans

Every October, my bestie, Susan, has a special visitor. But she makes him or her stay out on the front steps.  Right on time this visitor arrived this October.

He has a sign that says, Let's Eat Out!" He is dressed in an apron made by a special friend who passed away in March and he is carrying a spatula that is a family heirloom. You know how we old Southern Ladies like our kitchen utensils and pass them down!

I have taken pictures of Skeleton for several years now and I went back in my blog to find pictures from each year.

Steve Bones.

Kendall and Morticia. Love Kendall's forced smile. Morticia's smile looks more sincere.

This was the year of our drought here in Alabama.
Morticia returned for a visit. She loves Decatur.
Rib a Dub! I think this one is my favorite of them all. Susan is very creative and I always look forward to seeing what she comes up with each October.

This year is very appropriate, but I like the tub one too.

Arlene, it is so very hard to choose a favorite. I'm leaning toward the chef one. Too cute! My skeleton looks naked next to those. Although he is sporting some random webs that the grandchildren put on him.

I'm your newest follower! :-)

I love this!! It's such a fun thing for your bestie to do! The skeleton looks great every year, that is, if skeletons can look great at all. :)
