Saturday Stitching

First lets announce the winners of the giveaway. I used the Random number generator.  Number one, the Madame Chantilly Package goes to Rebel Rabbit.  The Lizzie Kate package goes to Miriam.  Please send me your addresses at agrimm55@hotmail.com. I hope to get them in the mail next week. Congrats ladies.

I got some more work done on Riley Harbor.

I am trying to work on this piece every Sunday. I have one and a half houses to go!!

The rest of my stitching has been Christmas.

Working on Candy Cane Wishes and Mistletoe Kisses by Erica Michaels. The fabric is Springfield Sage.  I was doubtful about the called for colors of floss but I am using the ones Linda suggests and it is pretty. I would have probably preferred a more vivid red but I am withholding judgement until the whole ornament is complete.

I finished the Grands ornaments this week.

The corners are not perfect because Nana was too lazy to sit and stitch each corner that would be 45 total. Plus, they will be hanging on a tree and I hope no one is doing inspections.lol  I got some cute rusty accessories on ETSY.

I got some haul this week. My Tea and Biscuits floss came in so I can finish up Lanier's sheep ormament. I like to mail all my ornaments out in November. People seem to be putting up trees early this year.

I also received this from Inspired Needle...
I will probably wait to start this one in the New Year. I will have to gather flosses and fabric. I am thinking of doing mine in DMC. It calls for Weeks flosses and there are a lot of them. I will use Conch for the house as I think it is necessary to use the called for there!

Hope you all are having a wonderful week of stitching. Back to Riley Harbor!!

The alphabet ornaments are among my favorites. I think that was such a clear idea. Riley's House is going to be beautiful.

Riley Harbor is looking good, Arlene. Well done on getting the ornaments for the grands put together! They look super. Happy to hear that the floss you needed to finish the sheep has arrived. Enjoy your weekend!

Arlene, you have so may great ideas. Because of my surgery this year I got way behind on my ornament stitching. Everything will be plain and simple this year. I have enjoyed your idea, with the PS ornaments for your grands, I have really followed this one from start to finish. They are beautiful. I have thought about doing these for my grands. Now I have a question. My great grandson has two middle names, how would you arrange 4 initials? Thank you so much for sharing you bring joy to my week:)

The Christmas ornaments are wonderful. And I like the shade of red on the Candy Cane piece.

I am so impressed with all of your grandchildren's ornaments, Arlene--I'm not sure I would have been able to stick to it and get each one finished! Well done :) And I love Riley Harbor as well--very close to a finish on that one! Hope you enjoy this coming week ♥
