What a World!!

After our journey, we got back to Las Vegas ready to take in a few more sights!! First on the list was a visit to the Venetian and Palazzo casinos. We were going to see Frank, The Man and His Music at the Palazzo Theater. Marvin offered to pay parking if Gary would drive down to the Strip as Gary knew his way around. Gary told us that there are no parking fees!! The casinos want to get you in the door so you will leave some of your hard earned money with them!! Every casino is beautifully decorated...eye candy everywhere.

A doorman took this photo of us inside the Venetian...the statue behind us is fully decorated in live flowers.

I had to get a photo of Morel's french restaurant. Marvin's grandmother's maiden name is Morel and it is used by many in our family as a middle name. Our daughter, Amelia is Amelia Morel.

More eye candy!!

We felt like Celebrities walking into the theater.

See the tables down front...those people paid a lot of money for the old nightclub experience!! Reminded me of the Tropicana on I Love Lucy!

Friday morning we took time to visit the Red Rock Conservation area. The rock formations are similar to those in Sedona, AZ.

Rocks everywhere!!

Marvin in the Desert!

Friday afternoon we were back at the Strip...this time to tour the Bellagio and Caesar's Palace. The Bellagio conservatory featured an Under the Sea theme.

No expense was spared on this exhibit. And it changes every month I believe.

This oyster would close and then open revealing the big pearl...wonder if it is real???

A Chocolate Lady....boggles the mind.

We celebrated our 60th birthdays with a special dinner at Spago in Caesar's Palace.

Don't you love the evening sky? More of the Vegas touch at Caesar's.

We had such a great time out west....I look forward to another visit there in the future!!

I enjoyed the strip much more than I thought I would Diane. It was just like huge upscale shopping malls with casinos in the middle.
