Christmas at Grimmwood

While we were in NoGa we took some time to decorate for Christmas.

From the porch...

My rustic tree...

My favorite ornament.

You have to have Apples on the Christmas tree in Apple country.

The mantle...the angel scarf was a gift from twin sisters who were my students at the Weekday School.

Amelia gave me the Merry Everything last year and the small manger scene was a gift from a dear friend.

I posted this on Facebook and several people asked if I made the Gingerbread is a good fake.

My friend, Diane, got this for me when we went to Scottsboro. On the reverse side it says Thankful, Grateful, Blessed.

The Santas are watching over the Coffee Bar.

Hope you enjoyed visiting our NoGA house.

Just jumping in here to tell you that Marvin had his surgery yesterday and the small tumor in his parotid was benign. We just got him home from Birmingham and he will be resting and relaxing over the weekend. Thanks for all the prayers as we sure do appreciate the prayer support.

Thank the Lord for Marvin's good results. I'm so happy to hear that and now you can just enjoy the holidays to the fullest. You are already in that spirit Arlene. Your home away from home looks so warm and cozy and perfectly decorated. I see you are ruching...isn't that fun? Love your stitch above the coffee bar. Well I love everything. RJ

Arlene, I am glad Marvin's surgery went well and that the tumor was benign. Praise the Lord! Love all your Christmas decor. I wonder if those Santas would look the other way while I help myself at your coffee bar!
