Stitching Saturday

As I looked over my stitching journal for 2017 I found I had finished 35 pieces of needlework this year. Some were small and let me assure you that I have some Works in Progress that will not be finished until late this year!

I did take time to put away my Christmas things this week. Now it is Winter here at Nanaland.

I also finished my January Cottage. I hope to get it displayed today.

I am going to be honest and say that I am not happy with some of my stitches on this one. That fabric is such a bear!! As I told you before, I will NEVER stitch on it again.

I mentioned that my sisters gave me some stitchy love this Christmas....

Some summer stitching.

I heart Prairie Schooler.

And here are some Farm Stitches...

These will go to Grimmwood when completed.

I am hoping to stitch from stash this year. I have so many charts that I cannot justify purchasing more.( In honesty, I did order three more charts with some of my Christmas money...those will be on the blog next Saturday!)  However, there is a series that I signed up for...I just could not resist it.

Little House Needleworks just comes up with some of the cutest things. I think these will be stitched and displayed on the mantle at Grimmwood next Christmas.

Here is my Stitchy Wish for all you Needleworkers.

Everything you got is great. Fun times ahead this year. I know you didn’t enjoy the fabric, but the January cottage looks great on that one.

Well, I don't see anything amiss with your January piece! I always enjoy your Saturday stitching posts! Sure wish I had the patience for cross stitch. You do great work!!

I love your winter pieces, Arlene, but am sorry to hear that stitching on the polka dot linen was not much fun! I have some, but have yet to try it out. Guess I'll start with a small piece first to see if I can handle it :)
