Good Friday

When I taught Preschool we always used this prayer to remind our little ones that Easter is not all about Bunnies and Easter Egg Hunts.  We used their pointer fingers to make jelly beans to add to this prayer and sent it home with them so Mom and Dad could  enjoy it as well.

Another good way to explain Easter is to use Resurrection Eggs. The children loved to look inside each egg and to see a reminder of the Easter Story.

I had never heard the Jelly Bean prayer. These are great teaching tools.

What wonderful activities you shared with the young children to teach them the true meaning of Easter, Arlene.

That is very sweet about the Jellybean teaching aid.
Wishing you a blessed Easter.

I really like that! If I'd seen it earlier I would have gotten some jelly beans for my girlies, and printed this off!
