Happy Jacks

Fall means time to carve up those jack o lanterns. Amelia and Todd's family held their annual pumpkin carving on Saturday.

I love this picture of Kendall in her Charlie Brown shirt.  I think she is picking out which pumpkin she wants to carve.

Hudson and Landon hard at work on their Jacks. You will notice Kendall and Hampton do not want their pictures taken, as usual.

This is the before of the pumpkins on the steps up to the Roberts home.

And here is the after...

Pretty Spooky!!!

On Saturday, Landon won the hustle belt at basketball practice.

This boy cracks me up.... he is our goofball for sure. Hudson is trying for a close second..

Looks like Hudson found the Cinnabons and wants them all for himself. ( Remember to save one for Nana, Hudson!)

Since we were speaking of  Happy Jacks, I want to share this picture of my niece, Laura, and her fella, Beau.

The Alton clan made a trip to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee over the weekend. Laura says if you want to see the fall Jackolantern display at Dollywood there, be prepared to park far away and hike in! However, she did say that it was worth the effort. There are lots of pretty places to visit in the Fall the problem is everyone wants to visit at the same time.:)

Don't you wish you could save kids from the stage of not wanting their picture taken. It happens to most of them. Of course, Landon loves the camera.

Such cute grands and their personalities are precious - hiding that box of sweets!
Once pumpkins are carved here in Texas it’s only a matter of days before they are all rotted and moldy. I just add bling or decorative the outsides. I used to spray them with clear acrylic sealer but now I don’t since I feed them to the goats after Thanksgiving.
Ah, that last pic! Sweet young people and oh! That pumpkin tree!Oh, my👀
