Ornament Number TWO

This is the ornament that is similar to my friend, Karen's, creation.  Here are the buttons you are looking for at Hobby Lobby.

I found them at the back of my store in the hobby area.

I just took the pin off the backing. I cut a piece of tag board and glued it to the plastic.

You could add a festival paper...I used what I had as it will not show. You can add a ribbon but I went with the mini clothespins.

I got these at Hobby Lobby as well. I am unsure of the department where I located them several years ago. They have been sitting in my craft room waiting to be used.

Here is the finished ornament. I used a picture of Grimmwood in the snow. Sister Kristi risked life and limb to venture out to get this beautiful picture. I am using it for my Christmas cards this year as well. I added some stickers, also found at Hobby Lobby in the scrapbooking section of the store. I just clipped it to my Christmas tree which we store upright in my craft room. I don't want you to think that I already have my tree up and decorated.

And another look at the ornament I made for Marvin's siblings.

Let your creative juices flow and use these ideas for making your own unique ornaments for family and friends.

Love this so much! What a clever idea and so special and fun to have it be of a place you love- it's so neat you got to make the ornament of Grimmwood. I love the nostalgia and vintage loveliness of the one you made for Marvin's siblings, also. What a fun project, especially to preserve photos as memories in a way where they get brought out each year :)
So nice to visit you today and also catch up and enjoy reading your fall and stitching posts of lately. Love the cute red truck ornament you shared previously, I think I saw that same one at HL. Definitely hoping to pick it up. Will look so cute on your tree at Grimmwood, I'm sure.

Blessings to you!
Hope you are having a relaxed, nice evening and week so far♥
