Color at Grimmwood

My sister, Leta, sent me this picture from our driveway at Grimmwood.

I am hoping that there will still be some color there when we arrive on Thursday.

You might remember that my sis embroidered some cute farm animals for me. I had to ponder on how I wanted to finish them and thanks to Stitching Friends Forever, I decided to do a pillow pinafore.

I thought they turned out so cute!!

And for those of you who are Cousin Scott Fans....here is a picture he took at the lake on Fort Mountain.

It is just beautiful! The colors reflected on the lake just say FALL.

I love the fabric and ribbon to go with your beautiful stitching! It really did turn out great! Neat to see the fall colors too!

The colors are so pretty. There were some trees on campus that were probably chosen for their orange color that were all real pretty, but I would say overall the process of leaf turning in Auburn has begun but isn't in full color just yet.
The pillow top turned out so cute.

Your finish is adorable, Arlene--how nice to have a sister who stitches, too. Beautiful fall color down your way--our leaves have pretty much fallen now...
