Snail Mail

I came home from Grimmwood to find these pretty cards in my mailbox. One if from my sweet blog friend, Meg and the other is from my life long friend, Linda. We grew up together and we are fourth cousins but also dear friends. Linda never fails to send me a card for special days. If I have a card on display, my children will ask if it is from Linda. They know of her faithfulness in sending cards.

These cards made m think that I want to be better about sending cards this year.  So I want to ask all my blog friends to please send me your birthday and snail mail address.  Email me at agrimm55@hotmail.com.  It is fun to wish friends a happy birthday on Facebook or in Blog land but a real card means so much in our internet age.

What a lovely way to be remembered...especially when you have been away and come home to such lovely treats as these sweet Valentines!

I have a cousin that I've always been close to, as well. She is a bit older than I am, but we do remember one another with special cards for special times.

What lovely cards you received, Arlene! I thought of you while I was retreating the past few days especially during our Cracker Barrel visit.

What a lovely idea! When we came home in February there was a card from Amber welcoming me home. Made my day!

I also think you are very good about sending cards, Arlene. It's always such fun to get some snail mail, isn't it?

You are so sweet at sending cards. I love to get them, and I have good intentions of sending them out, but I so often fail... Mail that isn't a bill and isn't junk is the best though!
