Spring Break with Margaret

Can you believe it is April 1st? No tricks here in Nanaland....I am on my guard as I am sure Grandpa will try to pull my leg today.

We sure enjoyed having Margaret here last week. She and Landon were so happy to see each other.

We went to dinner at Mellow Mushroom.

Margaret informed us that Dominoes was better.lol Marvin says she will be a cheap date for someone one of these days.

We went to the library....

We got our steps in....this was made by neighbor Francine's home...

Margaret showed me a new snack...strawberry Yogurt with pretzel sticks. It tastes a bit like Srawberry Pretzel Salad.

On Saturday morning we got up early to head to Bham to see this boy...

Bur the game was called off for some reason so we just hung out until lunch time.  All the dogwood trees were blooming in Hoover. It is amazing the change in flora you see by driving an hour and a half down the Interstate. Our dogwoods are just budding here.

We had lunch at Tip Top Grill on the top of the Bluff.  Poor Baylor's eyes were itching so badly from allergies that he put his head in Katy's lap.

After lunch we headed home. We got a walk in before collapsing in the recliners. It sure was a fun time even if it takes a while to recuperate.

Glad you had a good week with Margaret as well got to spend some time with Baylor too. Pollen has been rough with more to come I fear. Have a nice Monday and week ahead.

I am quite sure after all that activity I would need my recliner as well. I had to laugh about the pizza. That was my Paul Allen always. The kids are all growing up so fast. I spied a cute little straw bag:)

It looked like you had an enjoyable spring break with Margaret and Landon. What a darling straw bag, Arlene! We don't have a Mellow Mushroom around here, so I can't compare although I am not a big fan of Domino's. Have a wonderful day!

What fun for the kids and for you two! I like Margaret's strawberry yogurt and pretzel snack. :)
I sympathize with Baylor. My eyes are itching right now!

Such a great time! Tell Landon I LOVE his Steeler's jersey--great choice :) My youngest was just like Baylor with the pollen and allergies--oh, did he have a time of it.
