Friday Five

1. Our Wonder Baby....

Joshua is holding his head up like a champ. Because Nancy had excess amniotic fluid, his muscles are much more developed than a normal six week old infant.  He had room to move all his muscles to his hearts desire. Nancy says he HATES being swaddled. He is growing like a weed...maybe he will be tall like Grandpa.  Oh and I just noticed that Joshua is shooting a bird at y'all....sorry!:)

And speaking of grandsons, this is for the Prayer Warriors who pray for our spectrum boy, Baylor. Katy texted me that their little dog, Rosie, was barking and Baylor said, "No Rosie" about five times. Thank you for praying for our precious one. I am hoping and praying that this might be the beginning of some speech for Baylor. My sister, Leta, has encouraged me that many of the non verbal children that she taught in her years as an educator, have since become speakers.

2. Burts Bees Foot Cream

I have always had problems with dry feet...this product that I found at Grove Collaborative has really made my feet soft and pretty.

3. Nanaland bag

I got this large zipper bag from 31 and had it monogrammed with my blog name. I have it in the car with supplies that I might need for the grands. This has really cut down on the amount of things I have been carrying around in my purse.

4. Hobby Lobby Find

This is my only extra purchase from Hobby Lobby this week. I used my 40% off coupon so it wa about $4. I knew it would be perfect for showcasing some fall stitching. These were also available in black and tin. This stand is orange but it is showing up as more red here.

5. A special card from a blog friend.

I love opening the mail box to find a hand written envelope. Thanks to my sweet friend, you know who you are!! It made my day and I will be saving it to use in my future Patriotic Decor.

Love the HL find. That will be just the ticket for something. I carry a travel bag as I call it with some extra things. IT makes the purse so much lighter especially for shopping trips, but I have all my necessary things with me. I have a Vera tote for that, but your Nanaland bag is adorable. The foot cream looks interesting. Joshua is a cutie and I am so excited for Baylor and Rosie. Keep praying and I will.

That Joshua is adorable! And tears came to my eyes when I read about Baylor. What a precious little boy he is.

Love your idea with the bag for the "extras" you may need when you have the grandkids along. So handy to have it in the car.

Blog friends are the best. :)

Arlene, Joshua is so sweet and he is one strong little baby to hold his head up already!! That is wonderful that Baylor reprimanded the dog, I will keep him in my prayers for continued speech.
I was in HL the other day and blew by the Autumn decor!!! see what I missed!! That is great for small round stitches.
I made 4th of July cards but too late to get out for this year, that is an adorable card!

I'm so happy to hear about Baylor's speech progress, Arlene! A door may have been opened :) Love your Nanaland bag--my niece used to sell 32 products and she gave me a very cute tote for Thanksgiving one year that was monogrammed with "Stitching." I just loved that gift so much :) And baby Joshua is so adorable--hope Miss Audrey is having a great time being a big sister!
