A Good Read

We are busy getting ready to head out for a 70th birthday celebration for my sis in law, Mina. So posts this week may be short and sweet!

For those of you looking for a good read without salty language travel back to the year 1915.

I thoroughly enjoyed this new mystery series set in New York City.  Ms Vatsal has thoroughly researched her mysteries and you will learn some interesting facts while traveling alone with Kitty Weeks as she pursues a career as a reporter for the Sentinel.

I have to admit the cover of these novels hooked me. I am a sucker for a pretty book cover.

It has been a while since I have found a book that I wanted to  devour in one sitting. No these books won't win the Pulitzer Prize but they are very interesting and engaging. I know a lot of you all enjoy reading but lament the meager choices of a good read at our local libraries. I hope you will give this author a try!

I’ve read these! I like a mystery that doesn’t scare the wits out of me and is a nice soft easy read and these are that! They are sort of like Nancy drew for grownups!

The cover art on these is indeed gorgeous!

I am super picky about fiction so I am glad to have your recommendation.

Have a great weekend!
