Friday Five

1. Snow

My friend Sharon sent me this picture Tuesday afternoon.

It was snowing away in Decatur but we missed it all because we were not home.

However there was a tad left when we arrived on Wednesday.

Snow in Dixie is always exciting.

2. MisterMoose

Our wonderful next door neighbors Janet and Jerry, gifted us with this Christmas Moose for Grimmwood. Isn't he darling. Pardon the was late afternoon and the light was not the best.

3. Christmas in the Kitchen

I had a nice Christmas package on my return to Decatur. I added Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas to 12 Days of Christmas in the South. I think they looks perfect together.

4, BEE Happy

My same sweet friend, Sharon, gifted me with this bee pin. I can't wait to wear it.  I will be thinking of my dear friend who I have known since 7th grade when I pin this lovely on my jacket. BTW, Marvin ordered two more nucs of bees to be delivered this spring. We are going to give it another go! Both of us have enjoyed our bee keeping. Maybe we need to pray over these new hives!

5. Handstitched Love

When you give something you make with your hands it is filled with love. Thanks to my stitchy friend, Meg, who stitched this and DESIGNED it. I love houses so this was a perfect gift and finished so perfectly.  Thank you Meg for taking the time to stitch this for me. It will always have a special place on my tree. Now you ladies see why I could never have a themed tree. My themed tree is family and friends!!

My mother seemed to be doing better when we left. It seems the problem is that her heart rate falls as she stands up, making her dizzy and swimmy headed as she describes it. The Nurse Practioner gave her some things to do ...get up slowly. Stand in one place to the count of ten before walking...etc. We will see if this helps. She goes to her cardiologist and to the NP for a recheck in two weeks. Thank you for your prayers. Please keep them coming.

And lastly....I reached 100 subscribers. One hundred and One to be exact. I promised a giveaway so in the new year you can look for one here at Nanaland. I want to do a good one and right now I am so busy that I could not do it justice. But I have not forgotten and I am so appreciative of all my followers!

I enjoy following you and seeing all the things you make, as well as the gifts you receive from friends. Prayers for your Mother that she will be ok and do as she has been instructed. Happy Friday!

I'm so glad you and Marvin are going to try bees again. We have our two hives and have ordered another one for this spring.
I missed some posts while we were at the ranch so I need to go back and find out what happened to your mom....will certainly be praying for her.

I suspected you were missing your snow. It has been rainy and gloomy down here. I am just ready to hit the 21st and start the climb back to lighter days. December is made better by Christmas lights otherwise it is foggy and dark month here always. I am glad Mom is doing better. Now, you could tell mine to get up slowly til the cows come home. Not gonna listen!!!

That little bit of snow might be okay, but I don't miss the white stuff anymore! The bee broach is perfect! What a great gift and I'm glad you two haven't given up on the bees and honey. Keep us posted! The moose is so cute and the blue house ornament is lovely. This is the season for surprises in the mailbox! Hoping your mom counts to 10 and takes it more slowly getting up. Prayers will continue!

The bee pin is so cute, and perfect for you.
The little house from Meg is adorable, and your towels are just right together!

Congratulations, Arlene, on hitting TRIPLE digits on your followers! Woot woot!

Thanks for the shout out on the ornament. ;) I’m so glad you like it. Yours is on Colour & Cotton linen (tombstone from the Halloween kit, but it looked blue to me). I stitched others on Wren by Picture This Plus, so yours is truly one-of-a-kind.

I’m sorry to hear about your dear mom. Low blood pressure? Dehydration? Those are my usual causes when I feel that way. I hope she feels more normal soon.

Love your towels. I’ve seen so many cute ones in the gift shops in Oregon, and I always think of you when I see them.

Snow in Decatur?! How often does that happen?
