Saturday Stitching

As I have mentioned before, I am planning a Very Prairie Year for 2020. Each month I will stitch something from the Prairie Schooler Designs.  So today I am sharing my plans for the year.

January

Button Up has been in my stash for a while and I plan to stitch the little skater. It will be a cute addition to the winter dough bowl.

February
I am doing several motifs from Measure of the Year.

March

Spring from booklet 208.

April  will be Spring from booklet 138

May

Still Life Booklet 41

June

I am getting a lot of use out of Booklet 208 Measure of a Year
June will be that cute beehive.

 July

Booklet 154  Instead of doing the whole month as charted I am doing the harbor scene
August Booklet 137 Summer Breeze

September

208 yet again

Fall  this time. I will have stitched all four seasons.

October

Booklet 132 Autumn Leaves
November
Booklet 167

I will be stitching Merry Christmas to All.

And finally December......From Booklet 81 I will stitch this pretty piece

That songs of the season will keep me busy as I love so many of them.

Now that I have shared my plans with my stitchy friends, lets see how I do! I am going to give myself some grace if I cannot complete them all but at least I have a PLAN. Goals are Good she said!!

That is a lot:) I am planning, Santa Rides (I hope to do the hot air balloon and the train). I want to do a set of 3 santas together, the one feeding the birds, the poinsetta and sunflower santas. And, If I get the fabric I want will try and do the 3 angels on black. I have collected so many Prairie Schooler patterns. I have a large project that I am starting the first of the year, plus I still have quite a few unfinished projects to tackle in my stash. Thank you for the encouragement. I am looking forward to 2020! Have a very Merry Christmas, and a Blessed New Year:)

I always admire those stitchers like you who can plan ahead, Arlene! I just kind of stitch whatever calls to me :) I stitched that pretty Peace On Earth one a while back--have it hanging in my kitchen right now!
