Friday Five

1. Baby's first Haircut

Oh how we laughed at this poor sad boy! But the end result is pretty cute.

2. New Blue and White

Hobby Lobby was having a 50% off sale on all tabletop items this week. I needed something small for the buffet so that was a win win for me. I have lots of Blue and White in my Dining Room.

3. Memories

Marvin found these old pictures in some photos we got  from his parents home. We are scanning a lot of pictures onto a flash drive.  Ben was such a cutie. It think he was two in these pictures taken in Savannah.

4. Ducks in a Row

We had visitors at Grimmwood. Merganser Ducks come every now and then but this Mama and Daddy Duck brought their youngsters along this time. We had to look up these baby ducks to make sure they were mergansers. They are...their head dress will darken as they get older. We spent about 20 minutes just watching them swim around in the rain.

5. A Find at the Antique Store

While in Oxford, we had time to browse an antique/ gift store named The Mustard Seed. I saw this piece of pottery and it said it needed to come to Alabama.

I thought it was the perfect size to hold my essential oils.

And it does! I may add a sprig of fake greenery to the middle portion. It looks so nice sitting by my diffuser.

Awwww, the poor little fellow getting that first haircut but he is a cutie for sure.
You found a treasure at the antique store and it works perfectly. Love the blue and white you found as well. Hope you have a good Friday.

He is so precious. All that to give the perfect smile for the end.
I love your blue and white and that holder is absolutely perfect for your oils. I had been lazy about running all mine. I am stuffed up so they came out yesterday and are running in all the rooms I live in!!!
I just love ducks. We get a lot of them in the winter here. Wood ducks are so pretty. I don't get many of those but I saw one of those out there the other day.

Joshua wasn't too happy during, but he sure turned happy after. He is a cutie. What a find from the antique place and a good repurpose for it, Arlene! Awesome shot of the duck family! Enjoy your Friday.

Oh, that first haircut photo is precious! It always surprises me at how quickly they can turn their screams into smiles :) Blue and white are my colors so I love your new pieces, Arlene! I always tell my boys, if you don't know what to get me--just get something blue and white :)

Hope you have a wonderful weekend ahead!

That first haircut is such a trial! I remember Grandson Tristan's which was done here in Lakeland by Grandpa's barber. Those scissors are scary! But both boys looked adorable when it was all over! I love that piece of pottery you found for your oils! Wow!! Happy weekend!

Poor Joshua! But he sure looks cute in the end.
Nice duck photo, and I'm glad you have your ducks in a row. :)
That antique looks like it was made for your oils!
