Merry Monday

Just sharing some photos today....I do have a new one of Amelia with Kendall and Landon.

This was made on Mother's Day.

My cool Landon man.

Audrey on a Rainy Day walk with Daddy.

Charles posted this one of the siblings playing with the garage that we got for Joshua. Looks like both of the kiddos like it.

As I have been considering vacation, I remembered our trip last summer. We went to see Ree. You know The Pioneer Woman. Well we did not get to see her but we did get to visit the lodge.

Sharing a few of my favorite pictures.

If anyone is on the fence about visiting Pawhuska, I recommend it. I have gotten lots of good suggestions for our trip to the Cincinnati area if it comes to pass.   If it does not, we will just sit on the porch at Grimmwood and enjoy the country life.

Love the pictures and hope the vacation comes to pass this year. We are deciding here too. Have a good Monday and week ahead.

Love your photos. Hopefully, they will come up with an appropriate way to see the places in Cincy...area. I enjoyed the Creation Museum, but it was so so crowded...kids were running about...not being handled by parents and/or teachers...however, it was lovely...Going around some of the curves in the building in the tour was a little problematic with my cane-I use it in crowds or large buildings...that being said...it was awesome. The next morning, we were at the ARK when it opened...it was absolutely unbelievably not to be described. It was huge, but it was not crowded yet...and we ambled along...loved loved loved. When I stood before the doors of the ARK (inside the building)...I thought about those who were not inside when the waters came...somewhat like people might feel now who have not isolated and/or those who have gotten sick and died...overwhelmed....it was interesting...we chose to eat at the little stand outside, although it was hot, because they had a veggie sandwich for me...it is worth every minute and every mile. In Lexington, not far from the Ark, is Cracker Barrel-my favorite one exc one in Nashville...used to meet my daughter and family there-when it was half way in between where we lived--for lunch, birthday, etc. hope you get to go...if not, there is the fall, which is the best time, I am told...

I think I would be happiest to stay at Grimmwood!! Too much going on to travel. All great photos but that one of Audrey looking up at her Dad is just too precious! You have to frame that one!! I can't believe how big Joshua is, I think he should be an infant, time passes far too quickly!! Amelia has passed on her good looks to her children! Love the photo of you cooking at Rees!! Wouldn't if be fun if a bunch of stitchers could rent out the Lodge and you could cook for us!! :)

Super family photos, Arlene! I enjoyed seeing the Pawhuska photos from your last year's trip. I hope your trip to Cincinnati happens, but porch sitting at Grimmwood sounds like a fabulous vacation as well.

It would be fun to plan a vacation trip but I think we'll stay home for awhile longer. At least the sun is shining today and it's beautiful here! Love your family photos. They really gladden your heart! Hugs!

They are all growing so fast. Seriously since I first met you via this blog they have changed and added too. I have a few places I want to go in this country when Jeff retires and one of them is the heartland, but for now I am very content and grateful to have the Auburn house to getaway too. A change of scenery and quietness is just what is needed at times. Grimmwood is beautiful.

Arlene, the children are growing so quickly! Tell them to stop it! ♥

I would love to visit Ree! It would be dangerous for me though as I'd want to buy everything you can there! Grimmwood is a lovely Plan B for vacation!

Nice pictures of your good looking bunch!
I'm watching the Pioneer Woman on DVD as I type this. Someday I hope to visit there.
