Friday Five

 1. Pretty Blue Box

I found this pretty box while browsing The Glass House in Chatsworth. This antique store has a little bit of everything. When I was growing up the store front was the show room for the local Chevrolet Dealer.

2. My Boys( and a little Kendall)

I found this photo while browsing for one to put on Facebook for Charles' birthday. Look at that little sugar lump between her two uncles.

3. New Camp Chair

Ben and Katy got me this cute chair for Mothers Day and my birthday. I love it! Used it for the first time this week at Landon's soccer game.

4. Pretty View

I was going out for our evening stroll around the neighborhood and it struck me how pretty this view is out our back driveway.

5. Our first Soccer Game this year.

That's my Landon, kicking the ball onto the field.

What a wonderful Friday 5. That little Kendall was so cute. Time passes way too quickly. I like the chair. Since Jeff just got a big old chunk cut out of the top of his head yesterday I am thinking that was a wise gift. I am looking for a hat to wear now when I am out in the sun. The view outside your back is just lovely. I think Gus would love that big old running ground. And that blue box is a fantastic find. Start revving up your prayers for us as next week is not looking good for us with the storms. I am about to go into high gear this morning soon.

Hi Arlene, That little box had your name written all over it! I love it. Isn't it fun to see family pictures like that, it always brings a smile. And, the chair is perfect. I have a grand daughter who plays soccer, and so far I haven't been able to watch her play, we live 12 hrs apart. My oldest grandson, played football and baseball. We went to every game we could and then he played 2 years of college baseball. I really miss those days. I really didn't feel empty nest until he was done. He has since graduated from college. However, this year my great-grandson played T-ball. I was able to make it to 2 games before my surgery. Next year, I will go to everyone I can. Boy, did you open a flood gate of memories:) Thank you so much for sharing. Many blessings to you and yours my friend.

Now, that chair would be perfect for me--I hate being in the sun! Love your secretary featuring your new blue box as well. I have a similar one only it just has panes of glass above--not those unique shapes :)
