A Break from House Pictures

I am hoping to post some more pictures tomorrow but thought you might like a break.

First I have to share this picture that Cousin Scott took for us girls. ( I guess we will always be the Tankersley Girls...no matter how old we are.)

I realize that Memorial Day is for those who gave their lives in service but our country recognizes all of our late servicemen on Memorial Day.

We were hoping to sleep in on Memorial Day as we have worked worked worked this week. Well we heard a terrible racket in our back yard. We thought someone was doing construction. I got up in my jammies and looked out the back door to find The BALLOON RACE was starting in the field at Annunciation.  We grabbed our cameras and ran outside to get pictures.

Maybe next year we will have a table and chairs and we can have breakfast and watch the balloons launch.

A few funny pictures from the Georgia Grimmlins.

Daddy was being a sore loser.lol It is good to show children what those tantrums look like.:)

And a picture of Joshua and Daddy watching tv together.

Hope everyone had a good long weekend!

What a beautiful sight of the hot air balloons, Arlene! Love the pictures of your family especially the one of Charles being a sore loser. What a good lesson!

I can only imagine, how tired you must be. Getting your beautiful kitchen organized has to be a bit of a chore. I love the pictures you posted on Sunday, and the pictures you posted today are absolutely delightful! It is so much fun to watch the hot air balloons. and your grands brought a smile to my day. Slow down, take a deep breath and enjoy your new home. Many blessings, to you and yours my friend.

I would totally love the hot air balloons. You will have to mark your calendar for it next year. Too cute ---those kiddos.
Blogger just now let this show up in my feed. I see that you had it scheduled to go out at 4:00 AM. I think they are tying to get rid of us all. I know mine new posts often don't show up in a feed line sometimes until the next day.

Those kiddos are SO CUTE! The balloons look so pretty against that beautiful blue sky! Yes, I think being prepared next year is a good idea to have coffee and breakfast while they float over!
