Saturday Stitching

I spent another week doing some monogamous stitching. Winter Rose Manor got some attention.

I changed the color on the female cardinal. In the picture on the chart, it is hard to tell the main body from the wing. I used Cocoa Bean by Classic Colorworks for the main body of the bird.

I managed to finish Elliott's Christmas ornament as well.

The needle minder is from Brenda's Minders and More.

Speaking of Brenda, she brought by three project bags I ordered for my birthday. Thanks Kristi and Leta. ( My Sweet Sisters)

I just love these pumpkins.
Brenda found this material that depicts some of the states....I had to have Georgia.

And Alabama....

As I mentioned last week I liked Beggar's Christmas so much I bought it twice.

So one of you gets a chance to add this chart to your stash. If you are interested leave the word Beggar in your comment. You must be over 18 years old and live in the continental USA. Please do not mention the word giveaway in your comment as we do not want a troll to win this cute chart.

Happy Stitching!

Arlene, it is so good to see you back. I love your Saturday stitches and I don't think you let the move slow you down a bit. You always have such great ideas for Christmas ornaments. Well my friend as you know Beggars can't be choosers. I also thought your Alabama and Georgia project bags were just amazing, what great gifts. Have a great week and many blessings to you and yours:)

Love your new bags! I wonder if all states have fabrics. Well done on getting Elliott's ornament finished, Arlene! It is a cutie. Your BBD piece is looking good; love that pair of cardinals.

Love watching the larger projects grow in size and often dream of starting one but then reality jumps in and reminds me that I live in a very small house with very little wall space. Beggars Christmas would be a fun stitch but being #1 for comments isn't to good for odds. But Beggar is the word! Take care and be safe!

Wow, I am very interested in that fabric depicting various states! Do you know if they have New Hampshire, or any of the New England states? Where might I look for it online?

And I will leave the word Beggar in my comment too. What a unique little chart!

I found the 'state fabric' at JoAnn fabric store. In Southern CA, they had California and Las Vegas.....not Nevada. Probably on their web site they have all the states. Very nice quality too. Always enjoy seeing what you are stitching. I am a 'beggar' for the Beggar's Christmas. Thank you. Patty McDonald

Hello! I'm new to your blog. Love that you cross stitch. Me, too! You're much neater at it, though. I need to learn how to keep my fabric tidier when I work. Your place looks nice! Congrats to your niece! He looks like a nice fellow. May God grant them a long and happy marriage. Will be back to visit again! Happy Monday!
